Born on 5 January 1993, Aakash Gupta was raised in New Delhi. He completed his schooling at Sumermal Jain Public School. Then he attended Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University, and got his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce Honours. Since his college years, he has been passionate about theatre and expressing things in a comic style.

In his sophomore year, he did several theatric stage plays in his own college fests as well as in others such as a performance at Mood Indigo (IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi). Also at college, he was the president of Natuve- Theatre Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.

When it comes to his marital status, he married a woman whom he loves, Nitika Seth on 17 October 2021. After completion of his graduation, Aakash worked in a multinational company KPMG in Gurugram, Haryana as an audit associate, while doing his job in the company he never quit theatre. Mainly he did theatre on weekends with different groups in Delhi.

To gain some recognition and for learning different forms of theatre, he has to quit his corporate job. In 2014, he worked as an intern at Radio Mantra. While exploring acting, comedy, and improvisational theatre he took professional training in Red Nose Clowning & Commedia dell’arte from Indian and German acting Masters.

After quitting his 9-5 job, he joined a comedy improv collective called Clueless Improv and trained under Delhi’s one of the most experienced improv trainers Varoon Anand. After that, Aakash participated in multiple improv shows for two years with his group. Also in 2014, he performed his first open mic stand-up comedy at Akshara Theatre in Delhi.

On 13 September 2016, he joined YouTube where he started uploading his stand-up comedy videos, comedy sketches, short films, and much more. When it comes to sketching comedy, Aakash is well-trained in performing arts as well as mastered the art of sketch comedy.
